And NEW! Coming home with the BRAVE CF belt

It wasn’t the weekend I’d planned for, but I guess it ended up with the outcome I wanted. I am now the BRAVE CF interim super-welterweight world champion.

The plan was to fight Moe Fakhreddine for the title at BRAVE CF 100, but the fight got cancelled after Fakhreddine couldn’t make the weight. I feel like I did my job. Obviously I'm disappointed I didn't get to fight, but it is what it is. I was professional. I did what I was paid to do, turned up, made weight, and did all the work.

I am grateful that BRAVE CF recognised my professionalism, but it was a shock to me that they actually gave me the belt. But, everything happens for a reason, and I think now I just want to come back and defend my belt, stay active and actually unify the belts. I want to keep making history, fight in France, fight in Ivory Coast, defend the belt there, and just keep going.

BRAVE 100 itself was a great event. BRAVE Combat Federation put in the work for the fans' entertainment. I was just disappointed that I wasn't able to fight that night, as planned.

Finally, I just want to shout out the fans over in Bahrain. I got a great welcome, and loads of fans were coming up to me for pictures while I was there. It was just a shame I didn't get the chance to fight for them that weekend.

I can’t wait to get back into the cage and fight for the fans again, this time as a champion.
