Let’s talk about UFC Paris
UFC Paris should be another great night. Most of the UFC's big French stars are on there everyone else is on there – only Ciryl Gane isn't on there.
There's few fights that I want to watch on fight night. The first one is Nora Cornolle. She's after revenge in her rematch against the only girl she's lost against. A rematch story is always great, so obviously, I'm rooting for Nora to win.
Then there's Morgan Charriere. He's fighting Gabriel Miranda. Morgan has got a big following in France, and that's going to be a good fight. I remember fighting on the same card as him on Cage Warriors.
Another match I'm looking forward to is the Brito fight. He's fighting William Gomis, and that will be a great fight, as well. Gomis' fight is a very interesting fight, because all the French people are saying he's kind of overrated and stuff. But this is his time to shine and show that he deserves to be in the UFC. I'm always going to be rooting for my fellow French people, and I hope Gomis does well in front of the French fans.
Another guy that's got a tough fight is the Australian French boy that's just arrived on the scene, and he's fighting in my weight class, Kevin Jousset. He trains with Israel Adesanya, and his fight with Brian Battle is looking to be a war, as well. Then there's Fares Ziam. He's got a nice fight on his hands as well. He's taking on Matt Frevola. That should be an interesting one, too.
In the co-main event, Nassourdine Imavov is fighting Brendan Allen. I know Imavov very well. We trained together before in Paris. Really good guy. I just feel like he's been underrated and people have overlooked him. But he's a great talent, very good striking, very good wrestling. He's very good all round.
So for me, I feel like Imavov will beat Allen via Round 2 stoppage, but it's an interesting fight, because Allen is on a crazy win streak. I saw Allen was trying to buy the French fans by buying a French PSG top and trying to be nice, because I don't think they like each other too much, and a few words were exchanged on social media. I think it'll be a great war.
And, of course, there's the main event. Benoit Saint Denis, he always comes for a war, so his fight with Renato Moicano is definitely going to be one to watch. And why not? It's probably going to be the Fight of the Night, as well.
Expect the atmosphere in Paris to be CRAZY! I'm here in Thailand training, so I'll be watching on my phone, or maybe from somewhere near the gym if they show it somewhere.
Wherever you're going to be watching... enjoy the fights!
