Who’ll be champion after BRAVE CF 89?

This weekend, it's a big fight in my weight division at BRAVE CF, with the title on the line at BRAVE CF 89 in Tenerife.

Kamal Magomedov is the current champion, and he's undefeated. But he's facing Brazil's Luiz Cado on Saturday, and I have a feeling that the Brazilian's experience might be what makes the difference.

Kamal is good, but I don't think he has the same level of experience Cado has got, so I might lean towards him to give Kamal his first loss, due to the experience advantage.

Cado looks really, really keen for the fight, and very excited for the challenge, so if I have to pick, I'll go with Cado to give Kamal his first career loss.

I've seen Kamal a little bit and checked out his style. He's very aggressive, a grappler-wrestler type of fighter, with good striking.

But Cado is well-rounded as well. He's got very good jiu-jitsu, so it'll be nice to watch the wrestling exchanges and see what happens when the fight goes to the floor. If Kamal makes a small mistake, I think Cado may have the skills to capitalise on it.

And, of course, I'm ready to fight the winner. I want to be the next one for the title after this fight. But I also want to fight before the end of this year, so I don't think my next fight will necessarily be a title fight. It might have to be another contender fight first.

Enjoy the fights this weekend! I'll be watching!
